ABOUT LE FARMHOUSE STAY

WHAT IS INCLUDED?

• 5 nights / 6 days luxury accommodation in our 18th-century farmhouse, reserved for one private booking only (2–4 guests), with exclusive use of our two-bedroom guest floor and a fully hosted experience.

• All transportation during your stay, including private transfers to and from Avignon TGV or Marseille Airport, as well as local transport during your stay with us in the Luberon

• All dining included, featuring:

  • Gourmet breakfasts

  • Seasonal lunches

  • Evening dining, including shared evenings at Le Farmhouse, an intimate dinner with a private chef, and multi-course meals at our favorite local restaurants

  • Wine, apéritifs, coffees, teas and soft drinks 

• Curated excursions, shaped around your interests, including visits to Provençal markets, hilltop villages, artist studios, antique brocantes & local vineyards

• Wellbeing and unstructured time, including a private massage for each guest, afternoons by the pool, optional yoga sessions, and space for rest and reflection

• Personal hosting throughout your stay, with days thoughtfully shaped around your pace, preferences, and curiosity

AMENITIES

Le Farmhouse Stay is a unique invitation to stay in our home as our guests.  We hope that you will enjoy staying here as much as we do!  A few of the amenities we offer include: 

​

• Our Property - enjoy our 20-acre (8 hectare) estate with gardens, olive orchards (2), hammock, walking trails and multiple private seating areas to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee, glass of wine, or your favorite book. Le Farmhouse is an authentic traditional farmhouse (le mas) that was built in 1790.  While our home is over 230 years old, it was fully renovated in 1998 with modern comforts, including A/C in each bedroom. It retains a classic charm and elegance, which includes some blemishes or "beauty marks" as we take our time to renovate each room. Please note that Le Farmhouse includes multiple stairs and steps, as well as uneven terrain and gravel pathways in the entrance and garden areas. Guests with limited mobility or specific accessibility needs should consider these limitations before booking.

• Pool - relax by our 15m x 5 m (50ft x 16ft) pool with sun loungers, umbrella and pool towels (provided)

• Connected living - high-speed internet (fiber optic, Wi-Fi); two private office spaces; TV room with Netflix for the rare rainy day

• Coffee/Tea service - Nespresso coffee and Mariage Frères tea self-service bar, and lattes or cappuccinos on request.

• Beverages - wine refrigerator stocked with our favorite local wines, craft beers and soft drinks for your private use 

• Guest Room 1 (max 2 people)

  • ​​Room features: King size bed (180x200cm), comfort mattress, luxury bed linens, air conditioning / heating, large closet, Wi-Fi, and Juliet balcony overlooking the garden.

  • Bathroom features: private en-suite bathroom with double sinks, soaking bathtub and rain shower, local bath products by Les Choses Simples, robes, slippers, towels and hair dryer. 

• Guest Room 2  (max 2 people)

  • ​Room features: Queen size bed (160x200cm), comfort mattress, luxury bed linens, air conditioning / heating, large closet, Wi-Fi, view over the garden, private office and access to a private terrace.

  • Bathroom features: private en-suite bathroom with rain shower, local bath products by Les Choses Simples, robes, slippers, towels and hair dryer. 

• Olive Oil from Le Farmhouse - a bottle of Olive Oil from our own estate for each guest

• Local transport - We provide private transportation to/from airport and train station and all local transport during your stay.

GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES

​

• Airfare (or train) to and from either Marseille Airport or Avignon TGV.  You do not need a car unless you prefer having the flexibility to explore on your own. 

• Travel and Health Insurance (highly recommended)

• All personal purchases made during the trip

PRICING​

​

Le Farmhouse Stay is €5,500 per person (excluding taxes), based on a five-night, all-inclusive stay, with a minimum of two guests and a maximum of four. We do not permit children (under 21) or pets. Each stay is reserved as one private booking only (maximum two guests per bedroom). Bedrooms are not rented independently. Taxes include a 10% VAT (value-added tax applied to hosted stays/chambres d'hôtes) and local tourist taxes (~€5 per person).​​

Payment terms: A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your dates (payable by secure credit card; non-refundable). The remaining balance, including applicable taxes, is due 30 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable. 

Please note we cannot change dates once reserved.

GETTING HERE

​

The closest airport is Marseille (MRS, 60 min) or the closest train station is Avignon TGV (45 min).  Please let us know if your itinerary requires arrival from another airport or train station.

BESPOKE EXPERIENCES

Each Le Farmhouse Stay is thoughtfully shaped around our guests’ interests, energy, and curiosity as well as our intimate knowledge of the local villages, restaurants and sights. While much of the experience is included, there are additional activities we can help arrange or coordinate, should they appeal to you. These are simply examples—your days may include some, many, or none of the following.​

• Wine & Gastronomy

  • Introduction to Luberon wines, hosted at Le Farmhouse, or visits to local vineyards and domaines

  • A guided tour of the local producers market to buy select seasonal ingredients and prepare a lunch at home

• Wellness & Wellbeing

  • Private massage during your stay (included), offered in your suite or outdoors on the property 

  • Access to a nearby award-winning 21,000 sq ft spa and wellness center, a short walk from Le Farmhouse (pricing available upon request)

  • Private yoga sessions, indoors or outdoors, guided by David, a certified yoga instructor

• Active & Outdoor Experiences

  • Guided countryside walks or hikes between hilltop villages

  • Road bike or e-bike rentals, with delivery to the property if desired (pricing available upon request)

  • Hot Air Balloon – we can assist with arranging a hot air balloon ride over the stunning Luberon Valley (pricing available upon request, weather dependent).

• Art, Culture & Learning

  • Visit a local artist studio or art exhibit (subject to schedule and availability)

  • Evening concerts (subject to schedule and availability)

  • Private French lessons, arranged with a local instructor (pricing available upon request, subject to availability)

  • Private or small-group pottery class, arranged with a local artists (either at their studio or at Le Farmhouse) (pricing available upon request, subject to availability)​
